The Itinerary

So when shall we leave?
March seemed to be a good time…however, real life got in the way. Both of us would only have time as of mid-March to focus on preparations. Due to time needed for this and the upcoming wedding and reunion in the Netherlands, we decided our best shot would be a summer equinox departure.

We then plan to travel through Europe in June and July, travelling through Turkey, mostly eastern Turkey, in August to then enter the countries on the west of the Caspian Sea mid to end August, beginning of September. From here to Iran in September, through to the countries on the eastern side of the Caspian Sea and take time to visit Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgystan, Khazakstan and Tajikistan from end of September to end of October.
We’ll then make our way back into Iran, travel to the south and take the ferry to the United Arab Emirates, where I’ll may have made a leap to in the mean time to manage the booth of October Gallery at Abu Dhabi Art 2014 from 5-8 November.
From here our journey will continue through the Emirates to Oman, where we will spend December 2014. If we last (as well as our finances and vehicle;)), we’ll cross to India and explore some of this incredible country before heading back to the UK in March.

An exciting year ahead of us! Please join in whenever you feel like it.

Wat een mooie ervaringen. Geniet ervan.

    1. Dear Angela, how lovely to hear from you! Hope it will be an epic like the journey you and your husband have done in the ’70s. Much more to come once we are on the road.
      Warm regards,
      Stefani & Saeed
